The Rundown: Hellboy is trapped on a ghost ship with no possibility of escape.

The ghost ship known as the San Juan has left the port after swallowing not only a group of ghosts hiding on the island, but also Hellboy himself. Abe dives into the sea to follow, but the ship disappears and he has to return to the island to work with Agatha to find a way to locate the ship.
Hellboy wakes up in the brig and learns that he cannot leave after trying to jump overboard and waking up back in the brig. As the Captain takes control of the ghosts, Agatha has to find a way to use her powers to reach out to Hellboy to give him and the ghosts the chance to finally escape.
The Story: Mignola and Williams deliver a thrilling, entertaining conclusion in this issue. There is great action throughout the story as well as a great mystery that is revealed throughout the hunt for Hellboy. I continue to love revisiting this world and these characters and look forward to reading more of their adventures and seeing more of the expanding cast of characters.
The Art: Campbell brings a wonderful dark beauty to the art in this issue. I love the character designs a lot and the style is perfect for the tone of the story.
