The Rundown: With one of them gone, the other superpowers must determine what to do next.
Eliza decides to pray for guidance and asks a question that could change everything. Back on Haven, Heavy is confronted by Tonya regarding what he did to Etienne and discovers that Etienne took away her superpowers. Her response is unexpected as she finally leaves to file her story.
Magus and Valentina go over what happened to Etienne as Masumi makes a decision about her life and her connection to Isabella. As Tonya files her story for the world to see, Eliza makes a decision that could have serious repercussions for the rest of world and reality itself.
The Story: Gillen continues to craft an engaging and thought provoking story in this issue. The characters are dealing with some interesting issues and the story continues to grow and evolve in ways that keep me engaged with each of them. I like the slow burn of the plot in this issue and how it positions some characters to make positive changes while others move in darker directions.
The Art: Wijngaard delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visuals and the style of this issue a lot.
