The Rundown: Sara teams with a teen to investigate a serial killer while tension in the city escalates.

Sara decides to pay her new friend Lisa a visit in order to get another perspective on the serial killer case she’s investigating. As the two go over the information they have including the monster she faced, tension within the city and the police department continues to rise as protests break out and people demand answers.

With the killer being hailed as a hero to some, Fontaine and the other dirty cops on the force decide that a show of force is necessary to keep the population in line. Unfortunately, their presence will attract the attention of the killer who Sara is forced to battle with the Witchblade.

The Story: Bennett continues to craft a thrilling, entertaining and engaging story in this issue. I love the growing friendship between Sara and Lisa and the contrast in personalities that is grounding Sara back into reality. I like the growing tension throughout the story as well as the buildup to the action that dominates the rest of the issue.

The Art: Cafaro delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I continue to love the character designs and the action is thrilling, bloody and gorgeously detailed.
