The Rundown: Cyclops returns to the team, but another return could spell trouble.

Scott is finally released from his holding cell in town and Magik decides to pick him up and teleport him home, but he knows something has happened in his absence. At the base, Beast confronts Juggernaut about killing one of the Upstarts as Psylocke and Temper discuss what to do with their prisoner Fitzroy.
When Scott returns, his discussion with the team is interrupted by the arrival of Doug Ramsey and his team. An arrival that will not only lead to a discussion about Doug and the others joining the X-Men but will lead to a strange attack on Cyclops that leaves everyone confused.
The Story: I’m going to be honest and say I don’t think I’m ready for another huge event for the mutants of Marvel. I feel like we haven’t had enough time to get to know these characters in their new dynamic long enough to be concerned about their world changing again. To that end, MacKay does craft some fun, interesting and tense moments between the characters in the first half of this issue and I hope those dynamics continue to be explored when this event is over.
The Art: Villa delivers solid, engaging and visually appealing art throughout the issue. I love the character focus of the issue and appreciate how the art showcases their emotions.
