The Rundown: Gehenna and her charge are chased by a dangerous assassin with explosive results.
A buxom assassin is tracking Gehenna and the boy she kidnapped as the woman finds herself in an animal hospital desperate to be patched up after a shootout. Tracking the woman and boy, the assassin finds them at an abandoned building and moves in as Gehenna explains why she took the boy and who she is after.
When the assassin catches up to the pair, Gehenna barely survives another shootout, but has rigged the building to allow for her escape. In the fiery aftermath, a vigilante finds Gehenna and attempts to bring her down.
The Story: Kindlon crafts another thrilling, action packed adventure in this issue. The story has some great moments of character development and I love the way the backstory is woven into the narrative. The action is visceral and immediate throughout the story and I love the buildup of tension throughout. The story continues to create a beautifully intricate and interesting world that I love exploring.
The Art: Rosenzweig delivers beautifully detailed and stylish art throughout the issue.
